Ignite Pillar™ Light

Ignite Pillar Light

Put on a record, dim the overhead lights and let a column of amber light warm the wall behind your sofa. Later, when friends come over, the same lamp can shift through pink, violet and blue in time with the music. The Ignite Pillar Lightgives you that range in a slim, freestanding design that fits into the spaces where a traditional floor lamp can feel too bulky.

Standing 1.24 m (48.8 in) tall, the pillar casts light through a frosted tube in all directions. Place one near a wall and the colour spills softly across the surface, giving a bare corner depth. Position a pair on either side of a TV to frame the screen, or tuck a single pillar beside your desk for a cool wash of light after dark. The low black tripod keeps the profile simple and leaves the colour to do the work.

From a single shade to a moving gradient

Choose from 16 million colours and adjust the brightness to suit the hour. Set the entire pillar to a soft peach for a quiet evening, or take advantage of RGBIC lighting to display several colours along the tube at once. A gradient can run from deep blue at the base to violet and pink above, giving you a richer effect than a single-colour bulb. Built-in scene modes make it easy to explore different looks, while music mode changes the lighting to the beat of whatever you’re playing.

Control it from your favourite seat

Use the included infrared remote to change the lighting from the couch, or use the onboard buttons for a quick adjustment as you walk past. For more control, open the Daybetter app to choose colours, fine-tune brightness and schedule the pillar to turn on or off. Set it to welcome you home in the evening or switch off automatically at bedtime.
